Director of Development and Special Events

After directing the 18th Annual Spring House Tour, Lannyl Stephens joined Village Preservation as Director of Development and Special Events. As a consultant, producer, and project manager for the past decade, Lannyl brings a wide variety of experience to Village Preservation. She has produced concerts at Carnegie Hall, at the Geary Theatre in San Francisco, events and conferences around the country, as well as radio and television commercials. Recently, as the Communications Director for the Hermitage Museum Foundation, she was responsible for promoting the world-class museum throughout the U.S. through educational outreach programs and public relations. She is the founder and owner of “Shake It Out,” a performance-based Shakespeare program for kids 8-18 that began in Greenwich Village at Grace Church School. Prior to her career as a producer, Lannyl was a Broadway, television and film actress, originating numerous roles on Broadway, off-Broadway, and in San Francisco at the venerable American Conservatory Theatre. At Village Preservation, Lannyl leads member relations and cultivation, membership-related events, fundraising events, and other programming.
