Village House Tour Benefit 2015
The 17th Annual Village House Tour Benefit raises funds in support of GVSHP’s work to educate and advocate for the distinctive character and irreplaceable architecture of our neighborhoods.
This self-guided tour of the interiors of six remarkable Village homes and sites, to be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015, promises hidden gardens, unparalleled art, and historic charm.
Highlights include a floor made of reclaimed stone from the façade of a demolished upper Fifth Avenue mansion, a beautifully restored home overlooking a secret garden, an elegant townhouse that can link its history to the Croton Aqueduct, a studio and art collection of a long-time Village artist, a rooftop vegetable garden with stunning views of the neighborhood, and a grand Greek Revival townhouse with outdoor space on almost every floor.
